  22. 2. INSTALLING DISCPLAY 4.0
  23.   The procedure required to install DiscPlay depends on the file format you
  24.   received DiscPlay in. Both formats will be covered here--instructions for
  25.   the EXE (self-extracting) format will be covered first, followed by
  26.   instructions for the ZIP (archive) format.

  28.   A. INSTRUCTIONS FOR EXE FORMAT
  29.     To install DiscPlay from a self-extracting EXE distribution, simply copy
  30.     the EXE file (usually named DISCP400.EXE) into a temporary folder, and
  31.     then double-click the file's icon in Windows Explorer to initiate the
  32.     installation.

  34.   B. INSTRUCTIONS FOR ZIP FORMAT
  35.     To install DiscPlay from a ZIP distribution, you must first decompress
  36.     it. Decompression requires a ZIP extraction program like PKUNZIP or
  37.     WinZip.
  38.     You should extract all files in the archive to a temporary directory (see
  39.     the PKZIP or WinZip documentation for instructions.) After you have
  40.     extracted all the files, double-click the "SETUP.EXE" file's icon in
  41.     Windows Explorer to initiate the installation.

  43. 3. REMOVING DISCPLAY 4.0
  44.   To remove DiscPlay 4.0 from your computer, open the Control Panel, then
  45.   open the "Add/Remove Programs" applet. Highlight the "DiscPlay 4" item and
  46.   click "Add/Remove".
